‘Strong and brave’ girl, 8, battling for her eyesight as tumour grows

A "strong and brave" girl who just celebrated her eighth birthday is battling to keep her eyesight as the deadly tumour on her eye refuses to go. Ed Sheeran super-fan Iliana Anastasi from Edmonton was diagnosed with an Optic Pathway Glioma on October 12, 2021. Iliana's mum Natasha still remembered the "bombshell" call from a Chase Farm Hospital doctor while sitting in the car with her son.
